When not in use, the shutters stay mostly hidden on the side of the opening and are pulled together and locked when a storm is approaching. Accordions are considered one of the strongest hurricane protection options on the market for the money. Ours are made of thick extruded aluminum with a tick powder coated finish.

There are no fixed width requirements for this type of shutter, allowing us to custom fit them to any window, door, and balcony – even those on a curve.
